We are delighted to share the exciting news that we have received official approval for a brand-new housing project in Silsden, West Yorkshire. This development will consist of 44 charming homes made of natural stone, offering a range of 2, 3, and 4 bedrooms across eight distinct house styles.
The unique characteristics of The Willows and its surroundings have been carefully considered during the planning process. We have considered the visual and design elements that reflect Silsden’s diverse range of traditional housing styles. By doing so, much like our Bolton Gardens development further into Silsden, we aim to create a development that harmonises with the existing architectural aesthetics of the area.
We believe this new venture will introduce a fresh blend of residences to the market, featuring an assortment of distinctive layouts tailored for our future homeowners. Among the offerings, we are thrilled to reintroduce a beloved classic, The Ashton, a delightful three-bedroom family home. Additionally, we are excited to unveil a truly exceptional new three-bedroom design that boasts many remarkable features.
The local area
The town of Silsden has been locally significant for centuries – it was named in the Domesday Book and, like many other towns nearby, it expanded rapidly during the Industrial Revolution, with several textile mills popping up. Nowadays, the Leeds and Liverpool Canal, which runs through the town, provides a scenic walking route, but when it was completed 200 years ago, it helped put Silsden on the map, connecting it with two major cities.

It makes an ideal base for those who love the outdoors, with Ilkley Moor and the River Aire right on its doorstep and The Beck running through the town and culminating in a reservoir just north of our Bolton Gardens development.
