New Build Specification – Elevations

Natural stone is our signature building material, and we use it wherever we can across our developments. This is paired with natural stone heads and sills that surround your windows and doors.

Attention to detail

We don’t just build boxes, we build homes and communities, which is why the external detailing is very important to us. We want all our developments to blend in and feel like they have always been there.

Some of our luxury homes feature beautiful oak porches. Watch out for the Whittaker house style on a development near you.

Our windows in the most part are uPVC. We use this material for its robustness and have sourced a style that features a thin profile. Their colour will vary dependent on the development. We choose elegant, timeless colours.

On our classic and premium homes, you’ll find an up and over garage, if your home features one. If you’re buying a luxury home, it will be electric.

If you are buying a refurbished home, you may find your windows are either wood or aluminium. Please refer to the full specification for details.

Each development is styled with the local context in mind which is why you’ll find each of our developments has its own character.

We use either slate or concrete roof tiles dependent on the development so please check your specification.

Lights are chosen to complement the traditional designs but feature a paired back contemporary feel.

Dry stone walls feature at a lot of our developments and are a painstaking build, but we think very worth it!

If you are buying on a development with ecological planning considerations, we may also install bird or bat boxes to a selection of homes. Lighting on such developments may also vary to encourage wildlife.
