Moving Day – What to Expect
The big day is here, but what happens next?
Your Sales Advisor will be in touch to confirm your completion day and guide you through the final steps.
Before Completion – Your Home Tour
In the week leading up to completion, we’ll invite you to the development for your home tour. We aim to do this before move-in day so you can take everything in without the excitement of getting your keys.
During your tour, we’ll walk you through:
- How your home works – including operating your boiler, cylinder (if applicable), alarm, and kitchen appliances.
- Key systems & controls – so you feel confident from day one.
Please allow around an hour for this appointment. We’ll also be launching video tutorials soon, so watch this space!
Completion Day – What to Expect
🔑 When do I get my keys?
It’s our experience that completion monies usually arrive later in the afternoon. We recommend informing your removal company so they can plan accordingly.
📅 Can I book a completion time in advance?
Unfortunately, we can’t confirm a time in advance as we are reliant on the banking and legal system. Please be flexible on the day—we’ll do everything we can to get you into your home as soon as possible.
📞 How will I know when my home is ready?
We’ll call you as soon as we receive notification that you can collect your keys—then it’s time to make your way to your new home!
When You Arrive at Your New Home
On arrival, we’ll:
✔ Take meter readings
✔ Run through key details in your handover booklet
✔ Take a final tour before leaving you to settle in and enjoy your first night in your new home
